Put the women and children to bed. Light your cigar and head to the tiki bar because we have a winner for the Season II Camp Phoenix No Limit Hold'em Championship. He goes by the name Command Sergeant Major Mike "Cigars & Tiki Bars" James. He played a fabulous round of poker from start to finish. The winning hand was James' A-J of hearts vs Airman Parks A-10 off suit. James hit the Jack on the flop and the rest is history. Mike shook hands, signed the felt and had his picture taken as the final winner for "The Poker Force" of Task Force Phoenix V. It was a good day. Congrats Mike on the victory, well deserved!

Tourney #14 (Record 96 Players!!)
#14 Winner: Rick "The Commander" Howard
To say CDR Howard was on a small rush at the final table would be the understatement of the entire tournament. He absolutely demolished everybody with just about any two cards he had. And just to rub it in, he won it all with Quad Kings on the final hand. With the win, he jumps to the top of the pts leaderboard and earns the title of Season II points Points Leader.
Congrats on the win!!

Tourney #13 (76 players)
#13 Winner: Gordon "Gordo" Johnstone
It was hectic, chaotic, and a little crazy in an old fashioned Army vs. Air Force battle. U.S. Army rep Major Ed "Easy Ed" Wingard against U.S. Air Force rep Airman Gordon "Gordo" Johnstone. It was back and forth for about 5 minutes until the Air Force "aimed high" and went all in with a pair of 10's in the hole. Easy Ed made the call but Gordo's 10's held up to win it all.

#10 Final Table
Holy Moly! No you're not seeing double from last week. John Stephens has become the first player to win back to back tourneys. Congrats Johnny!!
He plowed through the huge 86 player field for the victory. He dominated the final table just like last week winning almost every hand. When it got down to the final hand with runner up Heather Collee, he ended up hitting top pair on the flop with his K-10 of hearts and then hit two pair on the turn. Great work John...................again!!

Tourney #9 - Cigar Poker Night
John Stephens wins #9! Congrats!
He zipped through the 77 player field to make yet another final table, and that's where the magic happened. He dominated everyone there. He called down bluffs, he went all in on the hint of fear by his opponents. John ended up taking it all with a flush on the final hand. What a great tourney. Thank you's go out to all the players who participated.

Tourney #7 was another fantastic tournament with 70 players. SGM Mike James almost made history by becoming the first to win 2 in a row, but ended up in 2nd place. The winner, CPT Heather Collee played a fabulous round of poker. She strategically picked her spots to put all her ships in the middle and one by one, she conquered the entire 70 person field to become victorious with her K-6 off suit on the final hand. Congrats Heather!!

SGM Mike James wins tourney #6! Congratulations!!
Speacial thanks goes out to Foxwoods Casino for donating fabulous prizes.
What a great tournament, ending with a classic Officer vs. Enlisted battle. MAJ Grimes took a valient second place to the SGM after a 15 minute long session of one on one combat. SGM James ended up going all in w/ A-9 off suit, MAJ Grimes called (I forgot what he had); however, SGM James' hand held up and took all of the tournament chips with Ace high.
